02: The two journeys Written You will find the full second letter in FAIRE MAGAZIN issue 8 Published March 2023. Dear you, I am by the ocean. The type of ocean you can hear before you see it. And when you do see it, there is no end to it. I have been sleeping here by its side for four nights now and feel familiar with its rhythm. Its depth, though, is still unimaginable. I wonder if you have ever listened to an ocean like this. Knowing you, you have. In Norwegian, there is this saying, to be værfast. It means you can’t go anywhere because of the weather. It won’t allow you. This is where I am at. Værfast by the ocean, about to tell you a story of love, loss and belonging.... |
