This oak is older than any human being living on the planet.
Oak is so hard to carve, it is so solid the knife and axe needs to be moved with strength to shape it.

About the project :
Reconnectors is an art project reconnecting people with trees and trees with people.
They are meant to be held close and the calming effect of wood will appear.
Hundreds of people on all continents own one. Having one you will be part of a large community that is reconnected.
They are all shaped with an axe, knife and sometimes a chisel.
