This is a rare Ash Reconnetor with the wildest contrast I have ever seen. Light and dark.
Ash is one of the hardest woods I have ever carved. You feel it in your hand that this is solid. The ash tree represents the "axis mundi" and is known for healing loneliness.
I love ash for its ability to be stable and solid.

Reconnectors is an art project reconnecting people with trees and trees with people.
They are meant to be held close and the calming effect of wood will appear.
